Our Team

DOUG GREEN & KARLA GREEN

CEO, President & Field Service Manager

Doug and Karla are co-owners of Nature’s Call Septic Service, Inc.

Doug’s 40+ years in farming have made him a master of many things that go hand in hand with running a septic company. From dealing with trucks and equipment repairs, to land application, crop management and working with landowners to name a few. When Doug is not in the pump truck, you can find him on jobs such as lift pump replacements, line cleaning, and riser / cover installations.

CFO, Office Manager, Marketing, and Dispatch Supervisor

Karla wears many hats throughout the week.  She is our main contact whenever you call the office. Rest assured she is more than qualified to answer any of your wastewater questions! Karla’s 25 years in bookkeeping, accounting, and customer service have played an integral role in managing the operations of business.

In addition to this company, Doug and Karla also own a crop farm near Underwood raising dairy quality alfalfa.  In their free time you will find them kayaking, hunting, camping, or they just might be home enjoying time with their children or their 5 beautiful grandchildren. They are also involved with the local Aurdal Township, Underwood Lions, and Sverdrup Church committees.

RANDY GREEN

Certified Maintainer

Randy came to Nature’s Call with a strong farm work ethic & an electrical engineer background. Randy has worked in the septic industry for over 15 years. His long history of exemplary customer service is clearly seen when customers call in and request him by name year after year. When Randy is not here maintaining systems, he can be found helping on the farm side, or home tending to his flower & vegetable gardens, and spending time with his wife Jan and their 2 horses.

JAKE BIGELOW

Certified Maintainer/customer service liaison

Jake came to Nature’s Call with a Class A truck driving history and many years of heavy construction equipment operation including backhoe, directional drilling, cable plow and cable locating.  He now can add wastewater experience to that history. Jake is great at educating clients about their systems and has had many positive customer reviews about his ability to explain septic issues to customers who have never had a septic system before. When Jake is not maintaining tanks, or wrenching on the trucks, he can be found helping his friends with their home improvement projects, at home with his wife Janie and daughter, or hunting & fishing in beautiful Otter Tail County.
